The MCS-1 is a single gang Decora® style controller with volume control, mute and source selection buttons. With an integrated plasma and fluorescent friendly IR target, the MCS-1 allows you complete control of the connected music sources. The MCS-1 can even teach Learning Handheld Remotes it?s codes for volume, mute and source selection. The MCS-2 is a double gang control with all the functionality of the MCS-1 plus a full learning keypad and transport button set. The MCS-2 will learn IR codes for each of the six sources, from play to track selection. In addition, the MCS-2 can learn up to 16 macros with 20 steps each. Each code is permanently stored on the MCS-2 and can be cloned to additional MCS-2 controllers. Both controllers come with extra button labels for customization in two colors, white and ivory. Both the MCS-1 and MCS-2 connect to the MDS-6 via simple Category 5 Wire and RJ-45 Connectors. All of the amplification and switching occurs at the MDS-6 Amplifier. Speaker wiring should be home-run directly to MDS-6 Amplifier. Maximum distance from the controller to the MDS-6: MCS-1: 300 ft. MCS-2: 150 ft.
