The Wavetrend TG700-A ActivDuo™ Key Fob RFID Tag works just like one of our long range RFID tags, to actively indicate presence at the L-RX201 or L-RX202 Reader Network. In addtion to the active nature of this RFID Keyfob, the push-button allows the user to send a separate signal (transmits as a motion byte) to the RFID reader network for one button control of lights, appliances, security or temperature for systems equipped with such hardware and our software. The transmit rate of this tag is required to be 10-12.5 seconds in order to satisfy FCC requirements.

The KeyFOB Active Tags are powered by an internal battery. The Tag will, for the duration of its life, transmit a Radio Frequency (RF) signal at a pre-set time-interval. The Tag life is estimated at 3-5 years at a transmission time interval of approximately 10-12.5 seconds, or four bursts when the integral button is pressed. The lifespan of the Tag ends when the battery life is exhausted. Battery status can be inferred by interrogating the internal Tag Age Counter Value. Powered by Wavetrend.

The Key Fob tag is intended for use indoors with personnel and key tracking and management applications where the tag can be secured to a key chain or lanyard.  The Key Fob is splash proof.

This tag does not have an integral motion sensor.

Note that software and RFID items cannot be returned unless defective, in which case we will exchange the defective items for new. RFID components are custom components that are programmed to order and unique to a single Customer. There is a 25% restocking fee for the cancellation of any RFID order prior to shipment. Once shipped, RFID orders are not refundable.
