New in 2011 !! The Wavetrend L-TG501-A ActivDuo™ Long Range Active RFID Tag is the direct replacement for the TG501 Tag and is available in an optional white plastic case that is new and improved making it more heat resistant than it's predecessor. This is our most popular RFID tag, and is recommended for automotive Windshield (not dashboard) mouning, personnel Use, and NON metallic asset monitoring. The L-TG501-A Active Duo now includes a motion Sensor as a standard feature of the tag, limiting tags transmissions when the tag is stationary to extend battery life. The motion sensor also transmits a motion byte to the Wavetrend reader. The Active Duo tag transmits to the L-RX201 or L-RX201-HA RFID ReaderNet network at a programmed rate. The self contained battery has a 3-5 year life expectancy and when used with our software modules, provides sufficient warning that the tag is nearing end of life. Each L-TG501-A Long Range RFID Tag includes a Tamper Switch and Motion Sensor so all of the features of earlier tags are now built in to one model. The RFID Tag is ultrasonically sealed and intrinsically safe. The L-TG501-A Long Range Active RFID Tag is avalable in White Only.

The tamper feature can also be used residentially for digital I/O !! Use the (resettable) tamper feature to transmit the position of overhead doors, etc. for use in automation sequences.

The Wavetrend L-TG501-A Active Duo Tag is also compatible with R500 Series Readers by AAID and Vuance and Replaces the T501 Tag Marketed by AAID as the T200 Tag.
