Wavetrend L-RX202 Long Range RFID Reader

ALL NEW FOR 2012 - The L-RX202 Long Range RFID Reader is the direct replacement for the L-RX201 reader and is specifically designed for hands-free asset identification and Asset tracking solutions. The L-RX202 Long Range RFID Reader is range adjustable, and  communicates with RFID Tags to capture the presence, identification and location of assets, people, vehicles and alarm triggered events. The reader(s) can daisy chained and be programmed to one of 254 possible addresses on one COM Port* !!

The L-RX202 readers provide long range coverage for real-time asset loss prevention, inventory management, and personnel access control and mustering.

Powered by Wavetrend, The L-RX202 Long Range RFID Reader communicates with a PC via a serial RS-232 or RS-485 protocol for custom software solutions, and they are also able to operate on any new or existing Ethernet LAN / WAN Network (with optional Ethernet to Serial Converters). The reader is range adjustable using the Installer Setup Kit and antennas can be discretely hidden in walls, ceilings, and doorways to identify and track tag activity.

• New AGC circuit prevents signal "flooding"
• Electronically fused input and output cicutis for better protection
• Can be configure via Micro-USB Port and Powered over USB for setup and testing
• Does not need to be disconected from RS485 Circut when programming via USB
• New Aluminum enclosure provides better shielding
• Range adjustable via software by setting an RSSI threshold.

With optional antennas, the Long Range RFID Reader network can simultaneously read multiple RFID Tags at ranges up to 450 feet (free air), and can also register and report the disappearance or unauthorized movement of individual RFID tags. This is especially helpful in inventory management systems where a single Long Range RFID Reader can monitor a number of tagged assets and report to a Host Computer or Access Control System any change of status of a specific asset tag and its associated employee.

Note that software and RFID items cannot be returned unless defective, in which case we will exchange the defective items for new. RFID components are custom components that are programmed to order and unique to a single Customer. There is a 25% restocking fee for the cancellation of any RFID order prior to shipment. Once shipped, RFID orders are not refundable.
