The T800 and T800TD Long Range RFID Tags are designed for Mouning on Metal Assets for high value Asset identification, real-time loss prevention, inventory management and tracking applications. This RFID Tag is specifically designed for operating while mounted on metal surfaces as well as plastics or fibreglass containing a high metallic content such as laptop and desktop computer systems, office machines, hospital equipment, telephones, etc. The T800 Long Range RFID Tag employs an anti-collision algorithm that allows multiple tags to be simultaneously identified by a single reader, allowing employees to be matched to individual laptops or assets, shipping pallets to specific merchandise, assets to authorized storage locations, drivers to specific vehicles or forklifts, etc.
All T800 Long Range RFID Tags contain the exclusive AutoLocate feature, making them ideal for real-time inventory management by tracking assets as they move throughout a facility. Tags can be easily identified by discreet, range adjustable fixed location or portable hand-held readers from .5 to 200 feet away and at speeds up to 300 MPH. The AutoLocate feature can also detect thieves attempting to remove tagged assets from a monitored facility by hiding them in a metal container, such as a toolbox or aluminium briefcase.
A TamperDetect version of the T800 RFID Asset Tag is available to prevent persons from removing an RFID Tag from an enrolled asset in order to illegally remove the asset from a monitored area or facility. TamperDetect sensors can instantly detect that a Tag has been removed from a tracked asset and send an immediate alarm to an access control or security monitoring system. T800 RFID Tag is powered by an internal Lithium battery and transmit their identity at a customer specific pre-set time interval. This breakthrough technology allows T800 RFID Tag to operate continuously for five to ten years before they need to be replaced.
For protection against adverse environmental conditions, T800 and T380 RFID Tags are encapsulated in a moulded plastic case, which is ultrasonically sealed during the manufacturing process. The mounting or attaching of an T800 RFID Tag to an asset depends on the asset and the type of application.
