The module communicates using the highly-reliable Universal Powerline Bus (UPB) technology. UPB devices such as the UFR30 are easily integrated to provide a flexible, low-cost alternative to hardwired or RF home automation strategies. The UFR30 Relay Fixture Module delivers on/off control for lighting and appliances up to 12A. These modules fit easily inside a standard outlet box, or they can be mounted to other surfaces using screws/ties. Fixture modules connect directly to the existing household power wiring. The device connected to the module can be operated manually using a UPB wall switch or multi-button controller, or automatically via PC or home automation server.
